Jody was born in Iowa City, IA and grew up in Williamsburg, IA. His mom, Carol and step-dad Wayne live in Williamsburg, IA. His Dad, Doug, also lives in Williamsburg. His brother, Jay teaches in North Liberty and lives in Iowa City.
